These terms cover your use of Budgettify (the "app"). By using the app you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

The app

Budgettify is a trip-budgeting tool provided as-is, free of charge, to help you plan and track spending for a trip. You can use it entirely locally, with your data stored only on your own device, or optionally create an account to sync a budget across devices.

No financial advice

Budgettify is a planning and tracking tool, not a financial advisor. Budget figures, projections, and alerts are calculated from the numbers you enter and are provided for informational purposes only. We make no guarantee of accuracy and are not responsible for financial decisions made using the app.

Your account and data

If you create an account, you're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for the accuracy of the data you enter. You may delete your saved budgets or your account at any time from within the app.

Acceptable use

  • Don't attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the app or its sync server.
  • Don't use the app to store or transmit unlawful content.
  • Don't attempt to circumvent any consent, authentication, or access controls.

Availability

The app is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Local file storage works without any server, but the optional sync server and AI chat feature may be unavailable or discontinued at any time without notice. We recommend keeping your own local export of any budget you care about.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Budgettify and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including loss of data or financial loss resulting from budget calculations or projections.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
